Alert Triage
The Alerts board at Alerts is the shift's working list. By default it shows unresolved alerts sorted by severity, and clicking a row expands the alert's device, history, subscriber impact and notes in place.
Working the board
- Acknowledge marks an alert as being worked: it stops paging the on-call chain but stays open until resolved, and the board records who claimed it.
- Snooze silences an alert for a window you pick, for a flapping interface you cannot fix this shift. The alert returns when the window ends if the condition still holds.
- Resolve closes the alert and stops every pending delivery; most checks also auto-resolve on the next successful probe.
- Select rows with the checkboxes and the bulk bar offers acknowledge and resolve for the whole selection, the fast path for a storm of related alerts; snooze stays per alert on the row's own menu.
Reading the board
- The filter pills split the list by state: Unresolved, Critical, All, Snoozed, Resolved and Suppressed, each with its live count.
- Sort controls order the list by Severity, Age or Impact (subscribers affected); the Site picker narrows the board to one site.
- The search box matches device name, IP address, site or alert message.
- A suppressed alert fired inside a maintenance window and needs no action.
